A delegation from Samara University recently visited Tashkent as part of a promotional tour. The tour included participation in the 27th International Educational Exhibition "Education and Profession," meetings with representatives of the Russian House in Tashkent, and visits to local educational centers and institutions. The delegation was represented by Elena Kirpa, Head of the Mobility and Recruitment Department, along with specialists Anna Kharchistova and Roman Arutyunov.

The "Education and Profession" International Educational Exhibition is one of Uzbekistan’s largest forums in education and career development, annually attracting leading universities and educational centers. This year, over 120 universities participated, with the total audience exceeding 17,000 attendees. Samara University’s booth became a focal point for prospective students interested in space-related fields. Significant attention was also drawn to the university’s programs in IT, natural sciences, management, psychology, and law.

In addition to the exhibition, the Samara University team held presentations at schools and educational centers in Tashkent, including the "General Lesson" training center, International "Gold Stars" School, and secondary schools No. 98, 180, and 178. Over 400 high school students expressed interest in studying in Samara, particularly in engineering and technical fields. During meetings with the leadership of these institutions, the university’s representatives discussed potential cooperation formats aimed not only at recruiting students for Samara University’s programs but also at promoting the Russian language and Russian culture.

Victor Alexandrovich Davydov, Head of the Training Department at the "General Lesson" center, shared:

"The visit by Samara University’s delegation marked an important step in developing our partnership. We see the university as a strong academic and technological partner, especially in engineering and aerospace fields. Samara is an attractive and comfortable region for education, and we are ready to collaborate on preparing and supporting applicants. We are confident this cooperation will open new opportunities for Uzbek youth."

Timur Alisherovich Tashbaev, Director of the International Gold Stars School, noted:

"Samara University’s visit was a revelation for our students. They learned about educational opportunities, immersed themselves in the student atmosphere, and eagerly participated in interactive sessions. The presentation was dynamic and informative, and the professionalism of the university’s representatives inspired our pupils. We hope to continue this collaboration and open new horizons for our graduates."

Currently, Samara University hosts over 50 students from Uzbekistan. Many have chosen legal, technical, and economic programs, actively engaging in student life and research projects.

Danil Sharapov, a first-year student from Uzbekistan, shared his experience:

"I chose Samara University for its strong engineering school and excellent opportunities for growth. The 'Aircraft Engines' program truly interests me, and the teachers explain complex topics clearly, using practical examples. The campus also offers many facilities where everyone can find something they enjoy—I chose basketball, which helps me unwind."
